Rose was the Oscar-winning actress who played Lorrell In Dreamgirls. Anika Rose was born on June 6 in 1971. She is an American actress and a singer. She was best known for her role as Tiana, the Disney Princess, who was her first African American princess in The Princess and the Frog (2009). In 2011 she was honored as an official Disney Legend. The actress is also famous for her role as the main character Lorrell Robinson in the Oscar Award-winning film Dreamgirls (2006) as well as for her role as the character of LaVerne Jukebox Ganner on the Starz program Power.
